Job summary

Onset Technologies seeks a highly skilled programmer adept at both front-end and back-end development in Houston. The role involves building and designing UI from a composable architecture, integrating data sets, and maintaining semantically driven ontologies.

You will drive projects from concept to final product, requiring strong organization and attention to detail. Preferred experience with Palantir Foundry, and leadership to guide engineers in feature development and cross-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related field with 4 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages and coding principles.
• Strong knowledge of web development framework.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in user interviews to understand technical and customer needs.
• Develop front end architecture based on Palantir Foundry.
• Design user interactions on web pages within Palantir Foundry Workshop.
• Develop back-end logic using semantic object linking in Palantir Foundry tools.
• Create servers, databases, and datasets for functionality as needed.
• Ensure health of data connections and pipelines (filesystem, JDBC, SFTP, webhook).
• Ensure security protocols for sensitive data.
• Maintain responsiveness of web apps built on low code/no code solutions.
• Lead engineers to develop features on projects.
• Manage projects from conception to finished product.
