Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer/Engineer to join a small, multi-disciplinary software team supporting national security missions. You will interact with users and technologists to ensure solutions meet customer needs.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, with on-site work 50% or as needed. You will contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software across a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field with 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with React or Angular.
• Experience building scalable applications and automated tests.
• Familiar with Git and working in distributed teams.
• Willingness to work onsite 50% or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop enabling software solutions using a variety of languages addressing real-world user requirements.
• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable software for the technology stack.
• Collaborate with program manager, engineers, and stakeholders to define software requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and demo new features.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions for mission-critical applications.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Work with DevSecOps to deploy features and maintain stability.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs; write robust test suites.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
