Black Cape is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer for Arlington, VA or the DMV area. Onsite 2–3 days a week (potentially more based on customer needs). Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance required; US citizenship commonly required for government programs.

We build cloud-native full-stack web apps, data analysis tools, and AI/ML capabilities for DoD and IC customers. The team thrives on an intelligent, dynamic, and fun culture with strong mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in at least one OO language (Java/Python/C#/C++).
• Experience with an MVC framework (Spring, Django, Flask or Rails).
• Experience with a relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite).
• Experience with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS).
• Understanding of HTTP, HTML, REST, CSS, and JavaScript.
