Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer – Simulation & Flight Systems in Hawthorne, CA. You will design, develop, and own critical software powering the design–build–test–operations pipeline for spaceflight, with a focus on high-throughput, scalable web applications across ground and flight systems.

You’ll collaborate across engineering teams to build robust simulation platforms, integrate emulators, and deliver features that boost reliability and user productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline required.
• 1+ years of software development experience or 3+ years of professional experience without a degree.
• Experience with Python, C, C++, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack solutions that manage analysis, prototypes, and vehicles by integrating simulation software, emulators, and flight software.
• Rapidly develop prototypes that prove key design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
• Create and maintain high-fidelity simulation and emulation software for all vehicles.
• Continuously improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of our simulation platforms.
• Partner closely with users to design and deliver new features that dramatically improve their experience and productivity.
