Job summary

Etude Capital LLC in New York is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a small, senior team working across the whole stack on the portal brokers use daily and the pricing engine behind it.

You will own architecture, partner with product and design, and ship real features in production with immediate business impact, in a hybrid Austin/New York environment. You will tackle geospatial data, imagery processing, and pricing models while collaborating with operators.

Qualifications

• Two or more years building full stack applications that real people used.
• Proficient with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React; Node, Express, REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, Git, and AWS.
• Familiarity with AI development tools.
• Strong communication and willingness to ask questions.
• DevOps in production is a bonus; open to hybrid work from Austin.

Responsibilities

• Work across the stack and write clean, maintainable code.
• Partner with product and design on features used daily.
• Tackle hard parts, debug failures, and improve reliability.
• Own a piece of the system and be open to feedback.
• Participate in code reviews and planning to align the team.
• Improve performance and scalability to speed up workflows.
