Job summary

Stripe is seeking full-stack engineers to work on innovative products in a fast-moving environment, balancing tactical delivery with strategic planning across UI, APIs, and services. You’ll contribute across the stack and partner with design and product teams to ship reliable features that customers love.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience building high quality code and infrastructure.
• Experience delivering great user experiences and usable features.
• Strong practices in building UIs and APIs.
• Focus on business impact rather than lines of code.
• Ability to mentor and grow engineers.
• Collaborative across teams and capable of aligning with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead technical projects, laying groundwork for evolution and scale.
• Design, build, expand and maintain UIs, their related APIs and services.
• Collaborate with partners to design and launch new features and capabilities.
• Align technical decisions with Stripe's initiatives while advocating for new business needs.
• Work with engineers across the company to reuse infrastructure or build bespoke solutions.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term roadmaps with tradeoffs.
