Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a capable Full Stack Developer to design, build, test, and deploy modern web applications. You’ll own features end-to-end—from UI to APIs to data persistence—within an Agile team.

You will collaborate across outfits to ensure production-ready capabilities, maintain secure coding standards, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Security clearance: Top Secret/SCI with a CI Poly.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack software‑development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience developing backend services with Python.
• Strong hands‑on experience developing front‑end applications with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable front-end and back-end components.
• Build responsive web interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Develop backend services, APIs, and business logic using Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs and work with third-party services.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL data models, queries, migrations, and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, tested code and create automated tests (unit/integration/API/E2E).
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, backlog refinements, and Agile ceremonies.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, security scanning, packaging, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX, QA, DevOps, security, and other teams to deliver production-ready capabilities.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application issues across the full stack, including performance and deployment problems.
• Follow secure-development practices (auth, input validation, secrets management, dependency management).
