Job summary

SeekWell, the parent company of 1-800 Contacts, Luna, and The Framery, is seeking a software engineer to build and maintain consumer-facing APIs and web components. You will collaborate across teams including iOS and ML, ensure product quality with automated tests, and participate in agile planning while enjoying a hybrid work setup with one day onsite in Draper, UT.

The role requires strong Python backend skills, frontend experience with Vue/React/Angular, and experience with FastAPI/Flask,

Qualifications

• 3+ years backend experience with Python
• 2+ years frontend experience with Vue/React/Angular
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent web framework
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with AWS, MongoDB, and Redis
• Ability to communicate technical requirements both verbal and written
• Embrace collaboration, care, inclusivity, and respect
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced technical environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative consumer-facing API’s and services
• Create and maintain consumer-facing web components and websites
• Collaborate with iOS engineers so they can leverage the APIs you own
• Collaborate with Machine Learning engineers to leverage models they produce
• Monitor production application performance and troubleshoot issues
• Write and maintain automated tests for new and existing code
• Work with Engineering Managers and Product Owners to prioritize work within an agile development methodology

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining innovative solutions that elevate the customer experience. What you’ll do
