Job summary

SeekWell, the parent company of 1-800 Contacts, Luna, and The Framery, is seeking a software engineer in Draper, UT. You will develop, enhance, and maintain innovative consumer‑facing APIs and web components, collaborating with iOS and ML teams to leverage models and APIs across multiple platforms.

The role requires 3+ years of Python backend experience and 2+ years of frontend work with Vue/React, plus experience with FastAPI/Flask, HTML/CSS, and AWS/MongoDB/Redis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend experience with Python
• 2+ years of frontend experience with Vue or equivalent frontend libraries like React or Angular
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent web framework
• Experience creating JavaScript components that are shareable across multiple websites
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with AWS, MongoDB, and Redis
• Ability to communicate technical requirements both verbal and written
• Embrace collaboration, care, inclusivity, and respect
• Able to adapt in a fast‑paced technical environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative consumer‑facing API’s and services

• Collaborate with Machine Learning engineers to leverage models they produce
• Monitor production application performance and troubleshoot issues

• Work with Engineering Managers and Product Owners to prioritize work within an agile development methodology
