Yogi, a data-driven product insights platform, seeks a Full Stack Engineer in NYC with a hybrid work arrangement. You will contribute across the stack, shipping production-ready features that empower product researchers, designers, and marketers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and tools (React, TypeScript, Next.js).
• Exposure to backend development with Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Interest in and awareness of the current AI ecosystem, including APIs and libraries.
• Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), Git, and collaborative dev workflows.

About this role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience who’s eager to work across the stack and contribute directly to our product. You’ll be part of a small, high-performing, and fast-moving engineering team where your code will be in production and in front of customers quickly.

As part of an AI-first company, you'll be expected to stay current with the latest tools and trends in AI and software development, and bring that knowledge into how we build and scale our platform

This is a hybrid role based in New York City, with the team working from the office 3 days a week to foster collaboration, mentorship, and a strong team culture.

What You Will do

• Build and maintain front-end and back-end features in our web application.
• Work with modern frameworks like React and back-end services in Node.js or Python.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to bring intuitive features to life.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in AI, GenAI, and dev tooling—and use that awareness to inform product and engineering decisions.
• Experiment with and integrate AI tools and APIs to enhance the user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Learn fast by working side-by-side with senior engineers and directly with the founding team.

Ideal Candidate Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and tools (e.g., React, TypeScript, Next.js).
• Exposure to backend development with Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Interest in and awareness of the current AI ecosystem, including APIs, libraries, and best practices.
• Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), Git, and collaborative dev workflows.
• Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a growth mindset—you’re not afraid to dive into something new.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Base Salary Range: $130k – 170k + equity. Total comp varies based on experience and leveling.
