Job summary

GameElevate Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for an on-site role in Burlington, ON. You will develop front-end and back-end systems using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI, while designing databases and integrating third-party services.

The position requires ownership, strong collaboration with Product and Business teams, and cloud/deployment responsibilities. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of full-stack experience, solid SQL knowledge, and proficiency with Git; AWS,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, Node.js and REST APIs.
• Solid SQL and relational database experience.
• Strong experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL databases and queries.
• Develop third-party integrations, including payment and communication services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture.
• Work closely with Product and Business teams to turn requirements into solutions.
• Contribute to cloud deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
