Job summary

Foundation Finance Company Careers is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team in Wisconsin. The role covers Front-End, Middleware, and Back-End development to build architectures that retrieve data from back-end sources.

You will work with a modern stack including JavaScript, GraphQL, Jest, Kafka, MERN, NestJS, Redis, SQL, and TypeScript, emphasizing test-driven development, RESTful APIs, security best practices, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in front end, middleware, or backend development, OR combination of education and experience.
• Any technical certifications from Amazon, Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, or in an essential duty mentioned above are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end web architectures driven by middleware to retrieve information from back-end sources.
• Develop software in our technology stack, which is constantly evolving but currently includes JavaScript, GraphQL, Jest, Kafka, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), NestJS, Redis, SQL, and TypeScript.
• Complete test-driven development and write unit tests.
• Maintain working knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain knowledge of security best practices in web development to safeguard customer and company data.
• Design performance optimized and scalable web applications.
• Utilize agile methodologies and scrum planning tools like Jira to help the development team meet its sprint goal.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
