Job summary

Accenture AWS Business Group (AABG) is seeking a Reinvention Deployed Engineer to design, develop, and operate custom web applications deployed to enterprise infrastructure including AWS, Azure, and on‑prem.

You will configure, manage, and optimize APIs and datasets, use Terraform and AWS CDK for IaC, and communicate with highly technical users while traveling up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• Minimum 8 yrs experience in Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with at least four of: Linux Systems Administration, Python, Docker / Kubernetes, or a modern JavaScript framework (like React or NodeJS), DevOps.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a platform engineering or developer role.
• Minimum of 3 months of experience with IaC tools, e.g. Terraform.

You Are

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Reinvention Deployed Engineer to join our team in designing and deploying custom applications for our diverse clientele. T he ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Linux , a solid understanding of modern web applications, and be able to communicate effectively with highly technical users on a wide range of technical topics.

The Work

You ( Re i nvention Deployed Engineer) will participate in the design, development, and operational management of custom web applications deployed to enterprise infrastructure including AWS, Azure, and On-Prem . You will help users configure, manage, and optimize their use of custom APIs, and datasets . Y ou will design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code ( IaC ) tools such as Terraform, and AWS CDK.

Our Reinvention Deployed Engineers engage in clear and effective communication with highly technical users, providing support and guidance on a wide range of technical topics. Their strong Linux skills help our Reinvention Deployed Engineers troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimize system performance, and ensure a stable and reliable environment for custom software solutions .

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
• Minimum 8 yrs experience in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or equivalent (If an associate degree, then 10 years of experience)
• Minimum of 1 year experience with at least four of the following: Linux Systems Administration, Python, Docker / Kubernetes, or a modern JavaScript framework (like React or NodeJS), DevOps
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a platform engineering or developer role
• Minimum of 3 months of experience with IaC tools, e.g. Terraform

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
