Job summary

Accenture AWS Business Group is seeking a Reinvention Deployed Engineer to design, deploy, and operate custom web apps across enterprise infra including AWS, Azure, and On-Prem. You will configure APIs, manage datasets, and implement IaC with Terraform and AWS CDK to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions.

The role requires strong Linux skills, modern JavaScript knowledge, and the ability to communicate with highly technical users; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 12 years of work experience, or 6 years for an Associate's degree.
• 8+ years in Software Eng/IT/related fields; 10+ years with an associate degree.
• At least 1 year with four: Linux, Python, Docker/Kubernetes, or a modern JS framework.
• 2+ years in a platform engineering or developer role; IaC experience with Terraform.

Responsibilities

You Are

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Reinvention Deployed Engineer to join our team in designing and deploying custom applications for our diverse clientele. T he ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Linux , a solid understanding of modern web applications, and be able to communicate effectively with highly technical users on a wide range of technical topics.

The Work

You ( Re i nvention Deployed Engineer) will participate in the design, development, and operational management of custom web applications deployed to enterprise infrastructure including AWS, Azure, and On-Prem . You will help users configure, manage, and optimize their use of custom APIs, and datasets . Y ou will design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code ( IaC ) tools such as Terraform, and AWS CDK.

Our Reinvention Deployed Engineers engage in clear and effective communication with highly technical users, providing support and guidance on a wide range of technical topics. Their strong Linux skills help our Reinvention Deployed Engineers troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimize system performance, and ensure a stable and reliable environment for custom software solutions .

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

• Minimum 8 yrs experience in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or equivalent (If an associate degree, then 10 years of experience)

• Minimum of 1 year experience with at least four of the following: Linux Systems Administration, Python, Docker / Kubernetes, or a modern JavaScript framework (like React or NodeJS), DevOps

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a platform engineering or developer role

• Minimum of 3 months of experience with IaC tools, e.g. Terraform

  Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
