Job summary

Altimetrik is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our California team. The role focuses on building enterprise applications using Java and React, with emphasis on secure design for HIPAA-regulated environments.

You will design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs, integrate with relational/NoSQL databases, and ensure robust security, auditing, and compliant data handling across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases and database design.
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on experience with HIPAA-compliant applications or healthcare systems handling PHI.
• Understanding of HIPAA-related controls around data privacy, access management, encryption, audit logging, and secure transmission/storage of healthcare data.

Responsibilities
