Job summary

SpaceX in Memphis, TN is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for Internal Systems. You will own architecture and build software used across SpaceX to accelerate launch operations and manufacturing.

You will join a team of engineers solving complex problems with modern tech, from web apps to data pipelines, in a fast-paced mission-driven environment. Aerospace exp. not required; strong problem solvers welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software experience in lieu.
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Proficient in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala or Java; strong OO programming.
• 1+ years of experience building single page web applications; version control and CI/CD understanding.
• Deep understanding of testing, CI, deployment, and monitoring; performance profiling.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations.
• Build prototypes to validate key design concepts and constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users' problems to craft efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews with the team.
