Edison Welding Institute Inc. seeks a seasoned full stack software engineer to design, build, and own software for our advanced manufacturing platforms in Buffalo, NY. You will shape architecture, integrate sensors and industrial equipment, and drive reliable, scalable solutions across the shop floor.

You will collaborate with process experts, mentor peers, and contribute to CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices, while presenting technical trade-offs to stakeholders and customers.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Front-end and back-end full stack capabilities required.
• Experience designing non-trivial software architectures.
• Containerization experience with Docker/Kubernetes in production or near-production.
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Build full stack applications end-to-end (backend services and APIs to front-end interfaces).
• Design and evolve software architectures for systems integrating sensors, controllers, and industrial equipment.
• Build and maintain containerized services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and communicate architectural intent clearly to teams.
• Present approaches and trade-offs to stakeholders; contribute to external publications or patents when relevant.
