Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Full Stack Engineer II to build and maintain applications across the stack, working with data platforms and BI tools. You will develop features, manage CI/CD pipelines, and handle large-scale data in Databricks, translating business needs into technical solutions.

You will design APIs, implement AI features, and collaborate with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. A strong focus on data analytics, ETL/ELT, and production-grade code is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of full stack software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, notebooks, Delta Lake).
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and version control.
• Experience with Azure cloud services (Data Factory, Synapse, Functions, App Services).
• Strong SQL skills with relational/NoSQL databases.
• Frontend experience (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend experience (Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET).
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders and requirement gathering.
• Experience with Git-based version control and Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries; understand schemas and data modeling.
• Data transformation between DB, APIs, and frontend state.
• RESTful APIs experience; basic integration concepts.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control, testing frameworks, and Agile development practices.
• Understanding SDLC concepts, debugging, and quality code practices.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
• Build and consume RESTful/GraphQL APIs integrating with internal and external data sources.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code following team standards.
• Debug and resolve issues across the application stack.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and notebooks in Databricks using Python/PySpark/SQL.
• Support ETL/ELT processes to move and transform data across environments.
• Perform data analysis to support product, engineering, and business decisions.
• Independently build LLM-powered app features and manage AI interactions for production use.
• Integrate RAG pipelines and vector search into application layers.
• Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development and code reviews.
• Analyze telemetry, performance, and query plans to identify bottlenecks.
• Translate KPIs into technical tracking requirements and dashboards.
• Collaborate in sprint planning and reviews with product and design teams.
• Write and maintain technical docs and runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
