Job description

Under broad direction, develops, maintains, and enhances client systems of the highest complexity and importance, as well as evaluates, designs, and develops new features.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and test systems of the highest complexity.
• Investigate and resolve complex and critical data, system, and software issues in the production environment.
• Contribute software development expertise to multiple projects and ensure that specifications are met.
• Conduct unit testing before releasing code to QA/UAT testing, perform code reviews, and receive PR feedback in a positive manner.
• Follow established software development standards and procedures and contribute towards their improvement.
• Be well versed with databases and persist in maintenance and management.
• Actively participate in scrum events.
• Adhere to DevOps procedures.
• Evaluate new platforms, tools, and technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain internal algorithms and tools for software development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Develop applications utilizing Golang (preferred) OR Java OR Python.
• Work with Angular or React, REST API, design patterns, SQL, SQL Server, RDBMS concepts, Docker containers, YAML file concepts, and LLMs.
