Job summary

Cubic is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer in Ashburn, VA for a hybrid role. You will build and deliver high-quality software across Go, Node.js, Python, React, and data services in a distributed cloud environment.

You will work with an integrated product team to ship features end-to-end, ensure code quality, and participate in architecture reviews while adapting to a dynamic, Agile setting. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go, JavaScript/Node.js, and Python.
• Experience with Linux-based distributed systems.
• RESTful web services and databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Front-end with React and AWS deployment.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement secure full-stack solutions.
• Review requirements and participate in architecture and code reviews.
• Build features end-to-end across web apps (React front-end, Go/Node backend, data layer).
• Develop and extend Go automation agent for devices with MQTT.
• Share knowledge and improve development practices.
