Job summary

Slack Enterprise is seeking a seasoned Fullstack Software Engineer to advance enterprise security and compliance features within our trusted platform. You will help design scalable systems that power Slack for Fortune 100 companies, balancing speed, cost, and reliability while aligning with security best practices.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high‑quality code, influence architecture decisions, and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience building web applications.
Proficiency in PHP, Hack, Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
Ability to drive technical decisions and write maintainable code.
Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

Brainstorm with PMs, designers, and engineers to build new enterprise security features.
Produce high-quality code and contribute to security features that drive enterprise adoption.
Own core security features or systems (SSO, SCIM, EKM) and improve health of architecture.
Assist support and operations in triaging production issues to maintain availability.
Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
