Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala (two+).
• 3+ years of experience with databases and database management systems.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or cloud-based tools.
• 4+ years contributing to open source frameworks.
• 3+ years front-end JS/TS frameworks.
• 3+ years creating APIs (synchronous/asynchronous).
• 3+ years CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing.
• 3+ years Git/version-control.
• 3+ years troubleshooting in cloud environments.
• Experience with AI-based coding tools and IDE copilots.
• 1+ year mentoring engineers and driving development.
• 1+ year observability to optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with distributed microservices.
• Collaborate with product managers and deliver cloud-based solutions for scale.
• Mentor engineering team and set design/operational standards.
• Define service boundaries and reusable frameworks with architects.
• Identify areas for refactoring and reduce technical debt.
