Job summary

Region 4 Education Service Center in Houston is seeking a Full Stack Developer to architect, develop, and maintain robust APIs, backend systems, and React TypeScript frontends.

You will work with C#/.NET, microservices, and cloud deployment, building scalable solutions and data pipelines in a distributed environment. Immediate starting date and strong collaboration with IT team are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area.
• 4 years of professional full stack development experience with C#/.NET and React TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices, design patterns, service decomposition, and inter-service communication.
• Hands-on containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and AWS services including RDS and Lambda.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# and .NET within a microservices architecture.
• Architect scalable microservices with proper boundaries and communication patterns.
• Build and optimize databases using Snowflake, MongoDB, and AWS RDS.
• Develop containerized apps with Docker and deploy with Kubernetes.
• Create serverless functions with AWS Lambda and integrate with React TypeScript frontends.
• Design ETL pipelines for data processing and transformation.
• Lead cloud migration efforts and manage complex data migrations.
• Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and API security.
