Clasp is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help scale our education and career‑path platform. You’ll own end‑to‑end features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, delivering accessible student tooling and robust APIs for partners.

You’ll join a DevOps‑minded team, with ownership over deployments, reliability, and performance, while mentoring and collaborating across product, design, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in software engineering
• 5+ years building web applications in production environments
• Experience with full‑stack systems including frontend, backend, and basic cloud infra
• Customer‑first mindset and ownership over quality and durability of shipped work
• Comfort with modern CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins)
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and communicate technical ideas clearly

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain features across the app’s frontend and backend
• Improve code clarity, reliability, and developer experience
• Develop polished, accessible UIs for students and admins and reliable APIs
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into maintainable solutions
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested code and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to system reliability and production stability
