Huxley is partnering with a premier financial services firm in Charlotte seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer. You will own end-to-end features, building resilient Python backends with FastAPI/Django/Flask and modern React frontends for risk analytics.

You will deploy on Azure, craft scalable data pipelines, implement observability, and drive CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. 5+ years in software development is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building scalable services with Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Strong frontend experience with React and JavaScript.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.

A premier global financial services institution is expanding its technology hub in Charlotte and seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to design and scale applications that power risk analytics and data-driven corporate decisions. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end features, developing resilient backend microservices in Python and intuitive frontend interfaces in React. Your work will directly modernize high-volume financial data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, translating complex enterprise workflows into secure, production-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Architect and scale robust web applications utilizing Python frameworks alongside modern React and TypeScript frontend toolkits.
• API & Backend Engineering: Design, build, and optimize backend services and data contracts supporting complex analytical data feeds.
• Cloud Architecture: Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized and serverless applications natively within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Observability & Reliability: Implement distributed tracing, logging, and application monitoring; lead incident response pipelines and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to maximize system reliability.
• DevOps & Automation: Construct and maintain automated CI/CD deployment workflows using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience leaning heavily into the Python ecosystem.
• Backend Mastery: Hands‑on experience building scalable services with Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Frontend Capabilities: Strong experience building interactive user interfaces using modern React and JavaScript.
• Data & Database Skills: Solid proficiency writing SQL queries, handling relational schemas, and performing data verification tasks.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Practical experience with core Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure Functions, Containers, and Storage layers).
• DevOps Tools: Experience building continuous integration and delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps frameworks.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional engineering experience.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Big Data Workflows: Exposure to Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, or automated workflow orchestrators.
• Domain Knowledge: Prior experience working within Financial Services, Fintech, Asset Management, or Corporate Risk Tech.
• Advanced Observability: Familiarity with modern tracing and logging practices such as OpenTelemetry or Azure Monitor.
