Job summary

Sigma Software is seeking a Senior/Principal Full Stack Engineer for an autonomous vehicle project. The role is fully remote within Europe, with collaboration across a global team and cutting-edge tech stack.

You will tackle front-end and back-end challenges using ReactJS, TypeScript, Golang, Python/Java, and PostgreSQL, deliver robust software, implement tests, review code, and mentor peers in a fast-paced, safety‑critical domain.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on with ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Backend experience with Golang, Python, or Java.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and Git.
• Upper-Intermediate English.
• Automotive domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large or complex parts of the software
• Develop unit, integration, and automated end-to-end tests
• Participate in requirements clarification sessions and raise questions regarding task inputs and requirements
• Peer-review design and code with senior specialists; proactively request reviews
• Promote clean code practices and good design principles; mentor others
• Participate in project/team meetings and contribute input
• Join conference calls and face-to-face meetings with the Customer
• Be available for business trips to the Customer’s office in the EU region

Our Customer is a global leader in the automotive sector, specializing in autonomous solutions for moving vehicles. PROJECT

The project focuses on developing advanced software solutions for autonomous vehicle systems. Engineers will work on both front-end and back-end components, enabling real-time data processing, control interfaces, and integration with complex hardware systems. The team applies modern development practices, cloud-native architectures, and robust testing methodologies to ensure reliability and safety.
