The Thuma team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help us grow and evolve our eCommerce storefront. This role can be based in San Francisco or remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, iterate, and test Thuma’s presentational component library
- Build and customize Shopify experiences on our Hydrogen storefront and custom apps/extensions (Shopify Functions, Flow, Checkout UI extensions/blocks)
- Build and maintain the next iterations of the Thuma storefront
- Maintain and extend our eventing and analytics pipelines
- Develop internal tools to support our eCommerce, customer experience, analytics, and logistics teams
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and translate them into technical requirements and solutions
- Lead the technical implementation of React JS, Type Script, Remix, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability
- Mentor junior developers, provide code reviews, and share best practices to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment

What You’ll Need
- 5‑7 years of experience in making websites (preferably using React)
- Experience working with Shopify is required
- eCommerce experience is required
- Willingness to adapt rapidly to changing requirements and maintain a positive attitude
- Capacity to work asynchronously with colleagues in other timezones while maintaining effective, concise and clear communication
