Job summary

Job description

The Thuma team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help us grow and evolve our eCommerce storefront. This role can be based in San Francisco or remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, iterate, and test Thuma’s presentational component library
  • Build and customize Shopify experiences on our Hydrogen storefront and custom apps/extensions (Shopify Functions, Flow, Checkout UI extensions/blocks)
  • Build and maintain the next iterations of the Thuma storefront
  • Maintain and extend our eventing and analytics pipelines
  • Develop internal tools to support our eCommerce, customer experience, analytics, and logistics teams
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and translate them into technical requirements and solutions
  • Lead the technical implementation of React JS, Type Script, Remix, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability
  • Mentor junior developers, provide code reviews, and share best practices to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment

What You’ll Need
  • 5‑7 years of experience in making websites (preferably using React)
  • Experience working with Shopify is required
  • eCommerce experience is required
  • Willingness to adapt rapidly to changing requirements and maintain a positive attitude
  • Capacity to work asynchronously with colleagues in other timezones while maintaining effective, concise and clear communication
