Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Vanguard, seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer experienced in cloud-native, enterprise-scale applications. You will build modern digital experiences using Angular, Java, Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS, collaborating with product owners and architects to deliver scalable, secure services.

You will design micro frontends, REST/GraphQL APIs, and microservices, deploying on AWS with IaC, while leading CI/CD and security practices.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of related work experience with at least 1 year of development experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, Java, and Node.js.
• Build reusable, scalable UI components and MFE architectures using Module Federation.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Spring Boot and Node.js frameworks.
• Design microservices and event-driven solutions using Kafka, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Architect and maintain cloud-native apps on AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, CloudFront).
• Develop secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2/JWT and identity providers.
• Implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeBuild.
• Integrate apps with enterprise platforms and third-party systems.
• Monitor health and performance with CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog.
• Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and RCA; drive engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture and design discussions.

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience building cloud-native, enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular, Java, Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and highly available solutions. In this role, you will partner with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams to develop modern digital experiences, drive cloud modernization initiatives, and build resilient applications using microservices, event-driven architectures, and AWS cloud services.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, Java, and Node.js.
• Build reusable, scalable, and accessible UI components, including Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures using Module Federation.
• Develop and support RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Spring Boot and Node.js frameworks.
• Design and implement microservices and event-driven solutions using Kafka, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, leveraging services such as ECS/Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and CloudFront.
• Develop secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2, JWT, and enterprise identity providers.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild.
• Integrate applications with enterprise platforms, domain services, and third-party systems.
• Monitor application health, reliability, and performance using CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Datadog.
• Participate in production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.Drive engineering best practices, code quality, automation, security, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture and technical design discussions.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years related work experience, with at least one year of development experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
