Job summary

nineDots.io in Stamford, CT is seeking a full-stack engineer to own and evolve investment research and risk management software. You will build full-stack web apps using TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with Python scripting and SQL queries underpinning data workflows.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong TypeScript and React experience, ideally including Next.js.
• Practical experience reading and writing Python for scripting or automation.
• Strong relational database and SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve full-stack applications supporting investment research and risk management.
• Build new internal tools and workflows from scratch.
• Develop modern web applications using TypeScript, React and Next.js.
• Use Python for scripting, automation and data-related workflows.
• Design and query relational databases using production-quality SQL.
• Build AI-enabled automations using platforms such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
