Luminary is seeking a software engineer to own features end to end, from customer idea to data model to advisor-facing interface. You will work on document ingestion, knowledge graphs, tax and wealth transfer modeling, and agentic tooling with a focus on delivering value to high-net-worth clients.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of software engineering experience at companies with strong engineering practices.
• Comfortable across the stack: Postgres, Go, React, TypeScript.
• Product-minded with ability to gather context from customers.
• Strong communication with a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Build agents with agents and design chat-centric surfaces using coding agents (Amp).
• Follow patterns for data modeling, GraphQL, and component architecture and know when to break them.
• Learn the domain from experts in estate planning and wealth strategies teams.
• Collaborate closely with design to turn tax and legal concepts into usable advisor interfaces.
