Job summary

Park Lane Recruitment Ltd. in New York seeks a Full Stack Engineer for an AI Platform to help build the core platform delivering AI capabilities across the organisation. You’ll own APIs, backend services, and modern web apps with cross-functional teams.

You should have 3–8 years of hands-on software engineering, strong backend experience, React, and experience with Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure. Relocation/visa support available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from a top 35 US university or leading international school.
Roughly 3–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience at a high-bar company.
Strong full-stack development with emphasis on backend.

Responsibilities

The Role

You will help build the core platform used to deliver AI capabilities across the organisation, including:

Cloud environments used to access AI models
Central APIs and backend services
Modern web applications and internal tools
Integrations between AI services, internal systems and data

You will have ownership across the full development lifecycle, from architecture and design through to deployment and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

Background. You MUST have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering and this MUST be from a top 35 US University or a leading international one
Experience. Roughly 3 to 8 years of hands-on software engineering, at a company known for a high engineering bar.
Strong full-stack development experience, particularly backend
Experience designing and running production APIs and backend services
Strong experience with React or another modern frontend framework
Python or Java backend experience highly desirable
Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, REST APIs and web applications
Genuine interest in generative AI
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with Node.js, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GraphQL or CI/CD
