Job summary

Rubie is seeking experienced full-stack engineers who own problems end-to-end across frontend, backend, infrastructure, performance, and security. The team works closely with customers to define the product direction, then ships it on the new architecture for large-scale data movement.

Compensation ranges from $150K to $215K plus meaningful equity; in-person at the Union Square office, five days a week in New York City.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of software engineering experience; most hires around 6-8 years.
• Genuinely full-stack - able to own frontend through backend and infrastructure.
• Proficient with React, Tailwind, TypeScript (frontend); Remix/TypeScript (backend); AWS, Cloudflare.
• Track record of shipping production software end-to-end and owning the outcome.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, infrastructure, performance, and security.
• Sit with customers, identify product direction, and drive it into the roadmap.
• Build on the new architecture for large-scale, reliable data movement.
• Use AI heavily and agentically while owning everything that ships.
