Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in Plano, TX for a 12+ month contract. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based applications with hands-on AWS experience, and exploring agentic AI and AI-assisted coding tools to boost engineering productivity and delivery.

You will build and maintain full-stack services using Python, Go, JavaScript, and React, containerize with Docker, and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Professional experience developing full-stack software applications.
• Strong experience with Python, Go, JavaScript, or React.
• Hands-on AWS cloud services experience (ECS, RDS).
• Experience with Docker and containerized development.
• Experience developing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with MCP-based solutions and agentic AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications and services.
• Build scalable solutions using Python, Go, JavaScript, and React.
• Develop and integrate cloud-based applications using AWS services (ECS, RDS).
• Create and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.
• Design and automate MCP and agentic AI solutions.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex) to improve coding efficiency.
• Integrate applications with APIs and troubleshoot complex integrations.
• Monitor performance and reliability with AWS CloudWatch and New Relic.
• Collaborate with engineers, leads, product partners, and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities.
