Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of web applications, spanning front-end and back-end technologies in a collaborative, science-driven environment.

You will build user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React preferred), develop back-end services with Python/Node.js on AWS, and apply AI/LLM techniques to create innovative, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or equivalent software development experience
• Bachelor + 2 years of software development experience or equivalent
• Associates + 6 years of software development experience
• HS diploma + 8 years of software development experience
• Experience with front-end and back-end technologies, including React and Python/Node.js

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React preferred)
• Develop and manage back-end services using Python/Node.js on AWS
• Implement AI/LLM integrations and AI orchestration workflows
• Collaborate with design/product teams to translate user needs into technical requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and maintain system uptime and performance
