Job summary

Videa is hiring a Software Engineer, Full Stack in Boston to build foundational systems and shape the evolution of our AI-powered dental platform. You will work on customer-facing software enabling our expanding suite of applications and machine-learning capabilities.

This is a builder role with cross-functional collaboration among engineers, clinicians, operators, and AI scientists to solve real-world problems in dental care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ECMAScript.
• 2+ years of experience with React.js in a cross-functional team.
• Experience with internal and external REST APIs.
• Strong ability to write testable, clean code.
• Knowledge of JSON Web Tokens for authorization.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across software and ML teams and with key stakeholders.
• Tackle the most critical efforts at Videa and create value.
• Promote pragmatism and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with different audiences.
• Build reusable React components across applications and use cases.
• Write automated tests with Jest and Puppeteer.
• Improve application performance and data integrity; advance deployment automation.
