Job Overview

Job Purpose: We are seeking a Full Stack Hands-on engineer with a unique blend of strong product ownership, management, and technical acumen. The ideal candidate will help shape the future of our digital products by leading development for back and middle office products. You will bring your finance experience to the table, closely collaborate with business stakeholders, and implement their requirements as well as advise and help business identify areas where technology can help them grow. Being able to build a functional product is as important as being a skilled software developer. Based in New York City, this position supports the reporting needs for our investment desks and infrastructure department heads.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, business analysts, and vendors to capture requirements, pain points, and future product needs
• Help business identify areas where technology can help them grow
• Clearly communicate concepts, designs, and implementation strategies to technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead junior members to meet deadlines and deliver applications on time

Key Requirements

• Superior communication and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of distributed systems and clean design
• Familiarity with Generative AI

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $180,000 and $200,000. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a robust benefits package.
