Job description

patients.app builds software for a community of specialist clinicians. We currently work with rare specialists - transplant nephrologists, palliative care oncologists and anaesthesiologists - to help them learn what they need to know about a patient. We translate their mental models and frameworks into a simple interface.

We have started to expand, driven by demand from our users recommending our product. This means going from bespoke integrations to building infrastructure that can autonomously onboard new clinicians. Built on an AI-native stack, our platform can flexibly present (often complex) information very quickly.

What You'll Do:

• Work closely with founders and doctors to help build our stack, make it resilient, secure and bug free.
• Help automate sign-up and onboarding of doctors and sensitive health information.
• Support front end development of the core product.

What We're Looking For:

• Comfort with our stack - Python, Postgres, and fast APIs (backend) and React, Next.js, and Tailwind (frontend).
• Ideally, experience in handling and sharing health data.
• Interest in making something from its early stages + someone who values open communication and working in a high trust environment.
• Work alongside leading AI & Robotics researchers ( Matt and Ram ) as part of a team that has built Oscar Health and Monzo Bank.
• Flexibility in hours and the opportunity for growth with the company.
• Remote-friendly, with a preference for candidates in the US (east and midwest preferred) or UK.
