About The Role

MRI Technologies is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic, remote-first development team building modern, open-source software solutions for NASA. This role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative and innovative team that values quality, pragmatism, and impact. The ideal candidate will have expertise across both front-end and back-end development, along with strong experience in cloud environments and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack applications using Angular (v18+), Python, and other modern frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build responsive and reliable web solutions
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes-hosted environments
• Work within cloud ecosystems such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct regular code reviews
• Engage in daily stand-ups, agile workflows, and sprint planning
• Develop technical documentation using Markdown
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and support an internal culture of learning and accountability
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, plus at least 8 years of professional full-stack development experience
• Associate’s degree with 10+ years, or High School diploma with 15+ years of relevant experience will also be considered
• 5+ years of experience in back-end/server-side development using C#, Python, Node.js, or Go
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development using Angular (v18 or above)
• 2+ years of experience deploying applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure
• 2+ years of experience using Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Strong Python scripting and automation experience
• Proficiency in technical documentation using Markdown
• Comfortable working in an agile, fully remote team environment
• U.S. citizenship required due to federal contracting requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government background investigation
