Job summary

Centurion in Tampa, FL is seeking a Software Engineer for a long-term federal government project. This role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, and is onsite in Tampa daily.

You will contribute across the full stack, coordinate with data scientists and security teams, and deliver production-ready analytic prototypes on the Top Secret network, both on prem and in the cloud.

Qualifications

• Experience across data engineering with multiple data stores (graphDB, OpenSearch, parquet, vector stores).
• Security engineering, cloud engineering, and CI/CD experience would be beneficial.
• Strong background in full stack web development with production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytic prototypes and shepherd deployment into production on the Top Secret network (on prem and cloud).
• Collaborate with data scientists, developers, domain experts and end users to operationalize analytics.

Day-to-day Responsibilities: Our DoW client requires an experienced software engineer with skills across the technical spectrum to contribute to analytic prototype development and shepherd deployment into production on the Top Secret network - both on prem and in the cloud. You will work with a team of data scientists and developers, along with domain experts and end users to operationalize analytic methodologies into deployed applications. Skills and experience needed include: data engineering across multiple data and data store types (including graphDB, OpenSearch, parquet files, and vector stores in addition to more standard relational DBs), application and data security engineering (not network cyber), cloud engineering, standard full stack web application development, a heavy dose of configuration, and CI/CD.
