Job summary

Photon is seeking a senior Full Stack Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to design, build, and ship scalable web applications and services. You will own features end to end—from API design and data modeling to user interfaces—and help set engineering standards for the team.

You will design RESTful APIs, build with React for the frontend, and work with NoSQL databases, CI/CD, and automated testing to ensure high-quality releases. Mentoring and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot; solid experience with Node.js.
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated testing.
