Elyvion is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to build secure, cloud-native applications in a government environment in Suitland, MD. You will work across the full stack from database design to production user interfaces and CI/CD.

The role requires hands-on Python and frontend development with Django/FastAPI and React/Next.js. The team is small (2–3 developers) reporting to a Technical Lead and you’ll contribute to secure software practices in a STIG-hardened, FIPS-validated

Formación

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong production experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Django and/or FastAPI.
• Experience with async/ASGI and modern Python 3.13+.
• Strong production experience with React, Next.js or equivalent frontend frameworks.
• Must have delivered complete production applications.
• Experience with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architecture.
• Experience with Pydantic-based validation.
• Strong PostgreSQL database design and optimization experience.
• Hands-on AWS deployment and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Experience integrating secure authentication solutions such as Keycloak, OIDC, SAML or CAC/PIV.
• Experience in secure/compliance-focused environments.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to build and maintain secure, cloud-native applications in a highly secure government environment.

The ideal candidate must have strong production frontend development experience along with hands-on Python backend development. You will work across the full application lifecycle — from database schema design and backend APIs to production user interfaces, authentication, cloud deployment, and CI/CD.

You will join a small team of 2–3 developers reporting to a Technical Lead**, supporting an existing platform while also developing pilot solutions and custom MVPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop secure, cloud-native applications using Python/Django, FastAPI, React and Next.js
