Beast Industries, a leading media and entertainment company behind MrBeast, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in San Mateo, CA. This AI-first rebuild targets creating account, home page and e-commerce experiences at scale. You'll work across frontend and backend, leveraging AI coding tools to ship features rapidly.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with a fast-moving team, and obsess over performance, latency, and conversion. Hybrid work in-office three days a week in San Mateo.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with at least one mobile or frontend framework (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or equivalent) and one backend language.
3+ years of hands-on experience building consumer-facing products across frontend and backend.
Bonus: familiarity with modern AI coding tools and AI-facilitated development processes.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We're doing an AI-first engineering rebuild for a company that already has an audience of 100M+ people. This is a zero-to-one build with no legacy constraints. You're not joining to maintain someone else's code. You're here to build the experiences that define what the Beast community can do beyond watching content, from user accounts and home page to e-commerce flows that convert at scale. You'll work across the full stack, frontend and backend, leveraging AI to ship features at a speed that wasn't possible before.

The Product

You'll be working, as part of a small and fast-moving team, on the product surfaces that every user touches: account, home page, and e-commerce. These aren't isolated features. They form the connective tissue of the entire experience, and they need to work flawlessly across a wide range of devices, network conditions, and user contexts. That means:

User-facing surfaces (account flows, home page, checkout, and purchase experiences) that must be fast, reliable, and conversion-optimized across devices.

A frontend that feels seamless whether a user is on a flagship iPhone or a mid-range Android on a slow network.

An e-commerce flow where performance directly impacts revenue: every second of load time and every friction point in checkout has a measurable cost.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

AI-Native: You're already burning through tokens and running coding agents daily to multiply your output.

Full Stack Engineer: 3+ years of hands-on experience building consumer-facing products across frontend and backend, with a strong eye for design principles and user experience.

Performance Obsessed: You notice when something feels slow, you know how to find the bottleneck, and you have a track record of moving the numbers — crash rates, render latency, load times, checkout conversion.

Product Minded: You care about why you're building something, not just how. You use data and A/B experiment results to inform your decisions and push back when the approach doesn't make sense.

Compensation $155,000 – $194,000 base + equity + benefits
