Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or STEM or equivalent experience.
• Secret DoD security clearance required and maintained.
• Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Python and Python web frameworks (Django or Flask).
• Frontend technologies include React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Tailwind CSS.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Redis).
• Containerization basics (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Git version control.
• DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack web applications using modern frameworks.
• Develop backend services, frontend interfaces, APIs, and data layers for AI and data analytics.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to architect scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain applications with Python, Django, React; develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Position Summary

TRABUS is seeking a motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of modern web applications supporting government and commercial customers.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack web applications using modern development frameworks.
• Develop backend services, frontend interfaces, APIs, and data layers supporting AI and data analytics applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and project teams to architect scalable software solutions.
• Build and maintain applications using Python, Django, React, and related technologies.
• Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Support CI/CD pipeline development and automation using DevOps best practices.
• Deploy and manage cloud-hosted applications within AWS and other cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain relational and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to software documentation and technical design discussions.
• Support TRABUS government contracts and internal research and development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software
• Have and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance
• Engineering, Data Science, or another STEM-related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience with frontend technologies including:
• oReact
• oTypeScript
• oHTML/CSS
• oTailwind CSS
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Basic understanding of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Linux or Unix environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
