This is not a typical engineering role. They’re already building with agents—using LLMs to ingest and respond to supplier emails, structure data, and automate procurement tasks end-to-end. You’ll extend those workflows and build new ones, alongside a team that is AI-forward in how they build everything—from the platform to internal tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable web applications that power the next generation of CPG supply chain solutions
• Work with coding agents and AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot Workspace, AutoGPT-style systems) to speed up delivery and enhance software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (and customers!) to define and deliver new solutions that address real-world challenges faced by users
• Innovate with LLMs and coding agents to automate supplier collaboration and internal engineering workflows
• Write clean, efficient code while also supervising LLM-generated code for correctness and maintainability
• Drive technical decisions that align with the long-term vision of becoming the operating system for CPG
• Implement cutting-edge security measures to protect user data and maintain trust
• Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve systems to meet the growing demands of customers
• Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and implemented with polish

What They’re Looking For

• A passion for solving complex problems and building products that users love
• Demonstrated ability to function in ambiguous environments with high agency
• A belief that AI and coding agents are not a gimmick, but the future of building—and a desire to help define how engineering teams build with them
• A strong belief in the power of technology to simplify and transform industries—especially those that have been slow to adopt tech
• A belief that a team is more effective together in the office than working remotely
• 3+ years of full-stack development experience focused on scalable web applications
• Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and version control systems like Git
• A track record of shipping high-quality products, ideally in a startup setting
• A commitment to excellence and a relentless drive to create something truly impactful
• A belief that there is no substitute for working side by side with teammates in the office

Also Nice to Have

• Experience building or integrating with LLM-based agents or AI tools
• Demonstrated use of AI tooling in your own workflows (Cursor, Codeium, Copilot, etc.)
• Experience with microservices
• B2B SaaS experience
