We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by leveraging your expertise in software development and your ability to drive projects to completion. You will work closely with our team and architect to design, prototype, and deliver innovative software solutions. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing our technical environment, as well as in developing advanced analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize strong analytical skills to understand business requirements before initiating design and development processes.
• Demonstrate initiative and ownership by independently managing tasks from analysis to testing, collaborating with other tech teams as needed.
• Adhere to and enhance our defined architecture, technology standards, and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases.
• Collaborate with the team and architect to design, prototype, and deliver software solutions, while managing the technical environment, researching new tools and technologies, and developing better analytics solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, assist in debugging, and contribute directly to the success of project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST, and NoSQL.
• Experience with Oracle or any other relational database.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as MQ or Kafka is preferred.
• Knowledge of Micro-Services Architecture, Scalable High Resiliency Systems, and Workflow is preferred.
• Experience with testing using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and JUnit.
• Agile development experience and familiarity with SDLC tools like Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with messaging systems (MQ/Kafka).
• Understanding of Micro-Services Architecture and scalable, high-resiliency systems.
• Background in the securities or financial services industry.
