Job summary

Index Analytics, LLC is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and support cloud-based applications and data solutions across front end, back end, and database layers.

You will develop RESTful APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Snowflake data models, using Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and AWS for deployment and operations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience building full stack apps with modern frameworks, relational DBs, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL and Python for development, data processing, and integration.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
• Experience with Snowflake for data modeling, transformation, and query optimization.
• Experience using Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Experience supporting cloud-based apps and data solutions in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, maintain, and enhance full stack applications and data solutions across front end, back end, and database layers.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support integration between applications, data platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for batch and near-real-time processing and data transformations.
• Develop and support data models, transformations, and workflows in Snowflake for scalable processing.
• Use Apache Airflow to orchestrate, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with infra and application teams to deploy, support, and improve solutions in AWS.
• Implement features that integrate with relational databases and AWS services such as S3.
• Partner with Cloud Eng, DevSecOps, and app teams to implement IaC and CI/CD for Snowflake objects.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in dev/prod environments and document root cause/resolution.
• Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver solutions.

Working closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional partners, this person will turn business requirements into reliable, well-tested solutions; build and integrate RESTful APIs; and develop data pipelines and application workflows that support analytics and operational use cases.The engineer will contribute across the software development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake, ETL development, Apache Airflow orchestration, and AWS-based services. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.Requires a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree with at least six (6) years of experience. Four (4) years of specialized experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.Experience building full stack applications using modern development frameworks, relational databases, and RESTful APIs.Experience with SQL and Python for application development, data processing, and integration tasks.Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.Experience with Snowflake for data modeling, transformation, and query optimization.Experience using Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring.Experience supporting cloud-based applications and data solutions in AWS, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with analytics, application, and platform teams in an Agile environment.PREFERREDHands-on experience or extensive training in Big Data platforms and large and complex data sets.Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI).Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including secure development, access controls, and auditability.Familiarity with SAS is a plus.Prior experience with Center for Medicare Medicaid Services or other government agencies.
