Job summary

Ampcus Inc in the United States is seeking a software engineer to design and implement scalable applications across multiple locations, including Wilmington, DE; Columbus, OH; Plano, TX; Houston, TX; Jersey City, NJ; NYC, NY; and Chicago, IL.

You will execute creative software solutions, develop secure production code, and collaborate with internal and external teams to improve stability and architecture. This role offers opportunities to impact system design and delivery across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Java programming experience.
• Must have strong React experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
