Sotalent is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for its marketing technology group in Massachusetts, based in Boston or Springfield. The role involves owning features from design through production, building scalable, secure, and high-performance digital platforms for advisor engagement and customer growth.

You will work across the full stack with React, Node.js, AWS, and Kubernetes, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS, engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of five years of professional software development experience.
• At least two years in a mature Agile environment.
• One year of experience with AI development tools such as Copilot or Claude.

A leading financial services powerhouse is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their high impact marketing technology group. This role is based out of their Massachusetts hubs in either Boston or Springfield and offers the chance to build digital platforms that drive advisor engagement and customer growth.

You will work across the entire application stack using modern tools like React, Node.js, AWS, and Kubernetes. The position involves taking full ownership of features from initial design through to production, ensuring every solution is scalable, secure, and highly performant. Beyond hands on development, you will influence technical strategy, mentor junior staff, and participate in high level architecture reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain responsive web applications that serve as the primary digital touchpoint for customers and advisors.
• Lead technical implementations by collaborating with UX designers, architects, and product owners to meet business objectives.
• Optimize application performance and reliability by implementing advanced observability and monitoring solutions.
• Promote engineering excellence through automated testing, CI CD pipelines, and rigorous code reviews.
• Advise on the adoption of emerging technologies including AI enabled capabilities and cloud native architectures.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to a global team of developers to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of five years of professional software development experience.
• Two or more years of experience operating within a mature Agile environment.
• One year of practical experience utilizing AI development tools such as Copilot or Claude.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of web architecture, containerization, and microservices.
• Experience with modern content management systems and cloud native infrastructure.
• Strong background in DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and automated delivery.
• Proficiency with both relational and document based database systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
