Location: Greater Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

About the Opportunity

This is not a traditional full stack engineering role. The position will be a split between software development, customer-facing analytics, and support for AI/computer vision applications in a fast-growing startup environment.

This is an opportunity to join an early-stage team where you'll have direct influence on both the product and the customer experience. The ideal candidate enjoys wearing multiple hats, solving problems across the technology stack, and working closely with customers to help drive successful outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of customer-facing web applications and dashboards
• Support customer analytics initiatives and help deliver actionable insights from platform data
• Monitor application performance and help maintain existing production systems
• Track key metrics and analyze historical results to identify trends and opportunities
• Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and technical challenges
• Assist in documenting customer specifications and solution requirements
• Partner with engineering teams to improve platform functionality and user experience
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software performance across multiple components of the stack
• Help support machine learning and computer vision-related workflows in production environments

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern web application development
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills
• Ability to work across multiple areas of a technology stack

Preferred

• Experience with React and/or Next.js
• Experience supporting production software systems
• Exposure to machine learning or computer vision technologies
• Startup or high-growth company experience
• Experience working directly with customers or end users
• Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial technology, or operational analytics environments
