Job summary

ITAC Solutions in Birmingham, AL seeks a senior full-stack engineer to own projects from concept through production. You will work across frontend and backend, shaping architecture, data models, and APIs while mentoring peers in a collaborative, low‑pressure environment.

You will contribute to Go, Python, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS—taking prototypes to production with REST/GraphQL APIs and a focus on robust, scalable software. This is a direct-hire role with meaningful ownership.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in full-stack software development.
• Strong Go and Python backend development experience.
• Advanced React and TypeScript expertise.
• PostgreSQL and AWS experience.
• Hands-on experience taking software from concept to production.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Demonstrated career stability and progressive engineering responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Build modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Vite.
• Develop backend services with Go and Python.
• Design APIs, database schemas, migrations, and data models.
• Take projects from prototypes through production implementation.
• Contribute to architecture, testing, security, and performance decisions.
• Troubleshoot across frontend, backend, API, and database layers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
